Attend the Miva Merchant Conference for only $299

Chuck Lasker is a speaker and MerchantTutorials.com is a sponsor of the 2009 Miva Merchant Conference in San Diego February 26-March1, 2009. Sign up before February 15th for only $299 and save $100!

I have attended many of these annual conferences and I can tell you it's worth it for users, store owners, developers, consultants and anyone else who uses Miva Merchant on a regular basis. The classes this year look even better than last year's, with a ton of hands-on help to focus on what the attendees are needing help with. The conference is a day longer, too, for more learning opportunities. This comes from company management listening to suggestions from last year!

The networking opportunities are very helpful, too. If you use modules, you can actually speak with the module developers. If you're looking for a consultant, all the consultants worth hiring will be there. And this is an opportunity to speak directly to the top management of Miva Merchant about any problems, issues or feature requests.

If you attend, be sure to stop by our table, check out our sample tutorials we'll have running, and pick up some free stuff (a surprise!).

Announcing new partnership with Miva Merchant

Yesterday MerchantTutorials.com began a new chapter in providing helpful tutorials to Miva Merchant users. Instead of two paid subscriptions levels (Basic and Full), we now provide three levels:

Basic Tutorials: Free at MivaMerchant.com. All the basic information users need.

Intermediate Tutorials: More detailed for users wanting to alter their store's design and functionality.

Advanced Tutorials: Third party modules, advanced techniques for optimization, design, SEO, functionality, tricks to make your site compete with the "big boys."

With this change comes a licensing agreement and partnership with Miva Merchant itself as the exclusive provider of training and help tutorials to Miva Merchant users. The Basic Tutorials are free at MivaMerchant.com for everyone. The Intermediate Tutorials are free to all Miva Merchant Service Club Members and only $79 per year for everyone else. The Advanced Tutorials are only $70 more per year and not only include amazing tips and tricks, but will be added to and updated on an ongoing basis.

MerchantTutorials.com is now also an official Business Training Partner with Miva Merchant:

With this new relationship, MerchantTutorials.com continues as the premier provider of Miva Merchant training by offering the easiest-to-understand video tutorials possible for Miva Merchant versions 5, 5.5 and coming soon, version 4 tutorials! Current subscribers will find over 50 new tutorials added in the Advanced area in the last few days, and will continue to see new tutorials added at a fast pace.

Several people have asked for more info about me, the voice behind MerchantTutorials.com. So, I created a one and a half minute video introduction and put it on the About page:
