Also, sorry for not posting for so long. After the Miva Merchant User Conference I stayed in San Diego for a week to do some business (like see the Miva Merchant corporate offices for the first time), and then flew to Kauai for a three week stay, where I am now. I'm still doing some work, but, you know, it's Kauai, so it's hard! I'll be more active this coming week, though. Drop me an email if you need anything.

1. How do you feel about Tweets with foul language?

• 40% I am fine with it.
• 6.7% I am fine with it and use it regularly.
• 0% I'm offended but still follow.
• 0% I'm offended and unfollow when I see it.
• 53.3% It depends on the severity and/or frequency of the foul language. I might unfollow if bad enough.

2. Should Twitter or a third party Twitter app allow a filter or word-replacement function?

• 53.3% Don't be silly. Censorship has no place on Twitter. People can unfollow if they don't like it.
• 6.7% I'd be interested in an option in Twitter or third party app.
• 6.7% Twitter should filter foul language automatically for everyone to protect the children.
• 33.3% I don't care if someone makes an option. I wouldn't use it.
• 0% If a filter option existed, I'd stop using Twitter.

I have attended many of these annual conferences and I can tell you it's worth it for users, store owners, developers, consultants and anyone else who uses Miva Merchant on a regular basis. The classes this year look even better than last year's, with a ton of hands-on help to focus on what the attendees are needing help with. The conference is a day longer, too, for more learning opportunities. This comes from company management listening to suggestions from last year!

The networking opportunities are very helpful, too. If you use modules, you can actually speak with the module developers. If you're looking for a consultant, all the consultants worth hiring will be there. And this is an opportunity to speak directly to the top management of Miva Merchant about any problems, issues or feature requests.
